Strings Attached is a multi-genre cello and piano duo that creates fresh arrangements and compositions of jazz, classical, folk, RnB, & hip-hop. Kevin's Jazz background, blended with Stephanie's Classical background, and their combined love for "good music" is the breeding ground for the hip compositions of Strings Attached.
The duo was founded January 2017 in Miami, Florida. October of 2017 the duo moved to Brooklyn, New York to work personally with the virtuosic chamber ensemble Project Trio. While in Brooklyn, Strings Attached was accepted into Project Trio's two month post-graduate classical/contemporary chamber music program, where they worked hands on in songwriting, recording, and performance. During their New York residency, Strings Attached wrote and performed with beatboxing flautist Andrew Bustamante.
In 2019, the duo is currently residing in Miami, FL focusing on exploring the genre of Jazz-Rock and working on material for an upcoming album.
Notable Performances include SoFar Sounds Miami, Clazz Music Festival in Italy, Rockwood Music Hall with Project Trio, and at the Lincoln Center Education in NYC.
When they are not performing, Kevin & Stephanie are actively pursing and providing music education in their community.
